As one of the leading European art events, ARCO represents the contemporary art market and gathers professionals worldwide twice a year, respectively in Madrid and Lisbon. ARCOmadrid is the International Contemporary Art Fair of Spain and serves as a meeting platform for the global art circle. The art expo will host its next edition between 5 and 9 March 2025 at IFEMA - Feria de Madrid.
IFEMA - Feria de Madrid, organiser and host of ARCOmadrid, will welcome to its halls over 95,000 visitors, numerous artists and collectors from all over the world. The 2025 edition will revolve around Amazon as its central project and topic. Amazon’s inspired program and exhibition will include ideas for Amazon futurism represented in contemporary art pieces and creations of human, vegetal, physical, and metaphysical bodies. The exciting art program will be curated by Denilson Baniwa and María Wills, together with the Institute for Postnatural Studies in Wametisé.
Besides the main theme, ARCOmadrid 2025, will feature artistic content with the General Program’s galleries selected by the Organising Committee. New galleries will be presented, and the project Profiles will continue to nurture and reinforce the historical link between ARCOmadrid and Latin American art.

ARCO is a leading International Contemporary Art Fair with editions in Spain (ARCOmadrid) and Portugal (ARCOlisboa). The prominent European event has committed itself for more than 40 years so far to promoting artworks and serving as a key platform for the art market globally.
Both ARCO events have been playing a significant role in the European art calendar, with ARCOmadrid held early in spring and ARCOlisboa, the event for gallery owners, collectors, artists and art professionals worldwide, held in summer.

What makes it special
ARCO is proud of itself not only for its steady growth and expansion through the years resulting in one more annual edition added in Portugal but also for the ARCO Foundation. The structure was founded in 1987, and its main function is to complement both events. It fosters research, collecting, and popularising contemporary art.
ARCO Foundation uses the period between ARCOmadrid and ARCOlisboa and organises various activities to collect art pieces to be presented at the art fairs later.
