About Art Basel Hong Kong 2025
Art Basel Hong Kong is part of the Art Basel’s world network of art events in Asia, Europe, and the USA. The annual event was established in 2013 and has gained popularity as one of the leading and most creative art events in the Asian market. Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre will welcome more than 240 galleries worldwide between 28 and 30 March 2025.
Art Basel Hong Kong 2025 will showcase various art pieces from local and international art professionals. The expo’s primary three sectors include:
- Galleries sector: presents well-established, emerging, and blue-chip galleries from the Asia-Pacific region, Korea, Japan, India, Turkey, Australia, and many more;
- Discoveries sector: displays solo projects of rising artists;
- Insights: focuses on well-curated art projects by artists across Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. The other sectors, like Kabinett, Encounters, Film, Conversations, etc. are distinctive with their own specific focus and atmosphere. An extensive side program with exciting events will elevate attendees’ experience. For the first year, MGM Discoveries Art Prize will be organised.
