BAU Munich is one of the most important trade fairs for the commercial and residential construction industry. The event is held once every two years in Messe Munich. More than 2,000 exhibitors from some 45 countries showcase advanced techniques, applications and materials at BAU. Over 250,000 professionals involved in planning, building and design attend the event. BAU highlights future-oriented concepts and solutions related to smart building and building automation.
Who can you meet there
The expo gathers under one roof manufacturers, planners, investors and representatives of the trade, research, education, interior and exterior construction sectors. There is a prominent presence of architects, building and fitting-out traders and suppliers as well as building companies and developers. According to a survey administered by the organisers, exhibitors at BAU are especially interested in the German and European markets with emphasis on Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, the UK, the Benelux and Scandinavian countries. The results also show a rising interest in Asia, North America, Oceania and Australia as target and sales markets.
