The European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, also known as ECCMID, has announced its landmark 35th edition dates. From 11 to 15 April 2025, Europe’s premier microbiology conference will convene at Messezentrum Vienna.
ESCMID Global has established itself as a cornerstone event in infectious diseases. It unites over 16,000 colleagues worldwide for a dynamic knowledge exchange, networking, and professional development. The robust scientific program is curated by the ESCMID Global Programme Committee (EPC), and it encompasses all disciplines related to clinical microbiology, infectious diseases, infection prevention and control, and public health. EMCCID 2025 will serve as a pivotal platform, drawing renowned scientists, policymakers, and practitioners to address critical issues in infectious diseases collectively.
EMCCID 2025 promises a stimulating educational experience featuring a packed schedule of informative oral presentations, interactive workshops, and captivating keynote addresses. A perennial favourite, the Clinical Grand Round will showcase the expertise of six internationally acclaimed physicians as they tackle seven challenging clinical cases involving infectious diseases. Trainee ID physicians from ESCMID and IDSA will present cases during a 2-hour session, followed by insightful discussions with professors.
