For over four decades, Elmia Wood has hosted a crucial meeting for the forest industry. The quadrennial fair brings together key industry stakeholders from the Nordic region and beyond. Originally scheduled for 2021, its upcoming edition had to be postponed due to the health risks and travel restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Elmia Wood 2022 will now be held from 2 to 4 June at the Elmia Exhibition Centre.
Elmia Wood houses all solutions for best safeguarding, development and benefit from the value of the forest. The three days of the fair will welcome over 50,000 forest owners, contractors and forestry administrators from around the world, who will meet to develop ideas, create contacts and negotiate valuable business deals. Held completely in the forest, it offers attendees the opportunity to test forestry machines, tools and innovative technologies in their natural environment. Elmia Wood is also the place for skills development and recruiting for the industry with representation of forestry programmes. The fair schedule also includes live woodworking, the innovative Drone Zone and The Elmia Wood Gold and Silver Innovation Awards.
