The upcoming 62nd ERA Congress will be held in Vienna between 4 and 7 June 2025. Under the motto Beyond Nephrology, it will comprise virtual sessions and an in-person event set in the Austria Center Vienna. The ERA Congress 2025 dates will gather over 90 exhibitors, more than 250 speakers and close to 9,000 participants.
ERA Congress 2025 will have a major impact, demonstrated by strong international attendance. Professionals from around 130 countries will travel to Vienna to gain knowledge about new developments in clinical practice, study findings and innovations in kidney care. Countries like the UK, USA, Germany, Spain, Italy, and France will be particularly well represented.
The scientific content of the 62nd ERA Congress will revolve around the 2025 theme Game Changers in Nephrology. It will be structured into seven tracks:
- Acute kidney injury (AKI) and critical care nephrology;
- Chronic kidney disease (CKD);
- Dialysis;
- Glomerular and tubulo-interstitial diseases;
- Hypertension and diabetes;
- Kidney transplantation;
- Physiology, cell biology and genetic diseases.
The programme will feature various formats, including plenary lectures and mini lectures, creative labs, symposia, educational sessions, and more. The Late Breaking Clinical Trials and the prestigious ERA Awards 2025 will be among the highlights of the congress.
