About IAA 2021
With over 120 years of history as a key stage for the automotive industry, IAA 2021 will return with a fully reinvented concept. The transformation begins with a move to Munich for the upcoming editions of the show, the first of which will be held on 7 - 12 September 2021. Targeted areas for trade visitors and the public will turn IAA into a city-wide mobility platform.
Mobility is indeed the keyword for the new IAA, which aims to offer a comprehensive show for the industry with distinct B2B and B2C areas. The Summit in Messe Munich will host a unique gathering of professionals presenting cutting-edge innovations and charting the future. The Open Space area, occupying downtown Munich, will offer a direct channel to the end-customer with dynamic showcases and dialogue formats.
IAA 2021 will also demonstrate a steadfast commitment to sustainability. From environmentally conscious solutions for passenger cars, ridesharing alternatives and public transport offers, to e-mobility vehicles of all sorts, every eco-friendly innovation will be on display. These solutions will also be available for testing at the Blue Lane – IAA’s first ever city-centre test track.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Most of all , the location was excellent. It was easy to access from the airport by being so close to the main station and the direct trains to the exhibition were very close as well.
The train station proved very good for getting some thing hot to eat after a long day at the exhibition. The large supermarket was in the station as well.
