ITE Hong Kong is regarded as one of the major international travel expos and a leading one for the Asian market. It has been growing steadily since its foundation, and 39 years later, it has solidified its position as a significant Asian travel event. Since 2006, ITE Hong Kong has been running simultaneously with ITE MICE.
The annual expo has a specific theme of travel each year, and it is highlighted through the so-called Theme Corner (special displays that include a photo booth and info panels). Travel topics so far were Ice and Snow Tourism, Sustainable Tourism, Emerging Destinations, etc.

Who can you meet there
Supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China, ITE Hong Kong is a travel fair with a highly international presence: regional buyers and trade visitors, public visitors, and foreign independent travellers are among the predominant participants, and around 85% of them are outside of Hong Kong.
Almost half of the local and international exhibitors are travel agencies, followed by MICE and corporate participants, and one-third are from other tourism sectors (airlines, hotels, resorts, tourist attractions, etc.) They offer extensive travel products, services, and information about destinations and attractions.
More than 65 countries and regions are represented during the expo, over 40 Asian (China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macao, South Korea, and Taiwan have official pavilions across the expo halls), more than 10 being European and American. In contrast, Africa, the Middle East, and Oceania have lower participation rates.
