MEDICA 2020 is the upcoming edition of the unrivalled event for the international medical industry. Unfortunately, due to the continued complications and health risks surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s appointment for the fair and the accompanying COMPAMED has been moved fully online. The ‘virtual.MEDICA’ and ‘virtual.COMPAMED’ platforms will preserve the main advantages of the live fair in three focal areas: the Conference Area, the Exhibition Space and the Networking Plaza.
Held every year in the city of Dusseldorf, MEDICA is the premier platform for pushing the technical and scientific envelope for medical technology, electromedical equipment, laboratory equipment and pharmaceuticals. Leading companies present their products to high-ranking representatives of research facilities, hospitals as well as medical organisations and associations.
MEDICA presents the latest developments across the entire healthcare industry. It co-occurs with COMPAMED to create the perfect synergy. The comprehensive display range of the international trade fair for high-performance components and solutions for medical technology rounds off the joint offer. Plus, the numerous accompanying conferences and forums are designed to keep participants up to date with the latest progress in the medical field. In 2020, the trade show will yet again highlight the most unique innovations brought to the industry by promising start-ups.
