NCT Europe

CBRNe Society organises a series of NCT events across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the United States, and South America. The world editions feature industry exhibitions, specialised conferences led by civil and military first responders, and focus on CBRNe and eXplosive topics, live workshops and capability demonstrations, and specific training sessions.

NCT Europe (also known as Nuclear, Biological, Chemical, and Explosives Convention & Expo) is regarded as the most prominent European CBRNe (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives) and EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) event.

Each year, NCT Europe edition is officially opened by a live demonstration of CBRNe capabilities of the welcoming country. Thus, the local forces’ capabilities are presented to all participants, and they explore the hosting country’s typical operating procedures.

NCT Europe gathers CBRNe professionals worldwide in one place to discuss the latest trends in CBRNe defence. At the specially organised training sessions, teams consist of specialists in Special Forces Units, CBRN units, Enabling Units for CBRNe, EOD Units, Police SWAT, Demining Units, Fire & Rescue HAZMAT Units, EOD, etc.

More than 60 exhibitors, over 530 delegates, and 15 training teams participate in NCT Europe and take advantage of constant interaction, meeting and establishing partnerships with key figures from defence and CBRNe areas.

NCT Europe features various side events, activities and specialised training sessions as follows:

• The Tech Tour: promotes industry products to the more than 530 relevant delegates visiting the event;
• NCT PRO Trainings: consists of product training and training missions where military and civil first responder teams from different countries operate in mock CBRNe, C-IED, and EOD scenarios. The training aims to coach participants in the latest threats and to provide them with state-of-the-art equipment. There are two types of training: NCT PRO eXperience and NCT PRO Challenge, which are focused on EOD, Special Forces, and CBRNe full-scale scenarios. All of these scenarios highlight interoperability, multinational, and multi-agency.
